A female protester was arrested outside the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Portland, Oregon, Saturday afternoon after crossing a restricted line during a tense standoff with federal officers, according to new video shared with Fox News Digital by TPUSA Frontlines.

The clip, just over a minute-long, shows officers shouting commands as a woman in a keffiyeh steps past a blue line painted on the property.

Within seconds, several officers pull her toward the entrance of the facility as others move to hold back the crowd. Protesters can be heard yelling as the confrontation unfolds, and pepper spray is deployed.

TPUSA Frontlines told Fox News Digital that the woman “crossed the line ICE does not want them passing” and appeared to make contact with an officer before she was detained. Frontlines added that the crowd was expected to grow later in the evening once the rain cleared.

In a statement to Fox News Digital, Portland Police Bureau confirmed two arrests connected to Saturday’s protests.

“PPB has arrested two people for crimes committed today. I do not have names or charges yet. The officers haven’t even transported them back to the precinct yet, so it will be a while,” the spokesperson said. “As we have every night for many weeks, PPB continues to monitor the area for criminal behavior.”

ICE did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s inquiry seeking confirmation of whether the woman’s arrest was carried out by its personnel or whether pepper spray was used by agency officers.

Protests outside the ICE facility in Portland have become a near-nightly occurrence in recent weeks, with activists opposing detentions and deportations.

TPUSA Frontlines also claimed that demonstrators appeared to have a so-called “safe house” near downtown Portland where they stored materials and coordinated activities. That claim has not been independently verified by Fox News Digital.

Portland police have repeatedly said they will continue to monitor gatherings near the ICE building for unlawful behavior..

The Portland facility is one of several ICE locations nationwide that have been targeted by demonstrators in recent months, often resulting in property damage and arrests.

The two individuals arrested Saturday have not yet been publicly identified. Officials said additional information would be released once booking is completed.

Savanah Hernandez faced racist remarks while reporting at the “No Kings” protest in New York City on Saturday.

Hernandez, a field reporter for Turning Point USA’s Frontlines and a contributor to the organization, spoke exclusively with Fox News Digital about the experience. She described being targeted with racial comments from what she characterized as a predominantly older White crowd while covering the protest.

Hernandez has been covering protests like this one for several years.

“I have been covering on the ground protests, riots, the illegal immigration crisis, basically every story that the mainstream media refuses to touch for the last six or seven years now,” Hernandez said.

POLICE SWIFTLY REMOVE ANTI-ICE PROTESTERS WHO INVADED TRUMP TOWER AS NATIONWIDE DEMONSTRATIONS INTENSIFY

At this protest, Hernandez said she experienced racist remarks.

When she was trying to “rationalize” with an older White male protester who made the claim that Charlie Kirk was “this horrible racist antisemite,” she shared what happened next.

“I tried to, you know, rationalize with him and say, ‘hey, I’m an Asian-Hispanic woman. Charlie has hired me to represent his organization. How does that make him a racist?’ He then called me a token and said that everybody needs one, apparently.” Then the protester went on to call everyone associated with Turning Point a “fascist,” according to Hernandez.

She described that rhetoric as “very normalized” throughout the protest.

“It’s hilarious because the same exact people that are screaming that the right wing are racist are the same ones that are consistently telling me that I’m brown, that I, you know, shouldn’t think the way that I do, that my politics are wrong, and that I’m gonna get deported,” she said. “It didn’t bother me because it’s something that I’m used to hearing from the left wing. I have gone to protests outside of ICE facilities, and I am constantly told that I am going to be deported and that I am next.”

Reporter says she's never seen a protest dissipate so fast as 'No Kings' Day Video

Hernandez said she has never feared ICE or the police because she follows the law, just like other law-abiding citizens who have no reason to be afraid of law enforcement. However, she often hears people tell her that she’ll be deported, that she’s just a token, or that she wants to be White.

Hernandez added that she isn’t a fan of the labels.

“I don’t even like the label of I’m a Hispanic Asian woman myself. Like I said, I brought that up to this individual because he himself thinks that Charlie is some White supremacist racist, and to give him a real world example, you know, I’m a living one.”

Hernandez pointed out the demographics she witnessed at the NYC protest.

“Primarily older and whiter, I would say, which is very interesting. And it usually is these people who are the most outspoken. We are seeing a lot of the older generation really come out to these protests specifically.”

Hernandez said that she is “not afraid” and will continue to do her work.

“I’m not afraid of these people. I think they are very radicalized, but I also think that we need people that are willing to go in the street and tell the truth. So you know, whatever happens, so be it,” she said.

U.S. Coast Guard personnel opened fire Thursday night on a U-Haul truck after its driver ignored commands to stop at the entrance of a California base, the agency said.

Dramatic video shows the box truck with its headlights on reversing toward security personnel stationed around a vehicle outside Coast Guard Base Alameda at around 10 p.m.

Moments later, flashes of gunfire erupted as officers shouted orders from a barricade. The U-Haul driver then hit the gas and accelerated forward.

The Coast Guard said security personnel standing watch on Coast Guard Island had witnessed the U-Haul truck “driving erratically and attempting to back into the base.”

Officers at the entrance then “discharged several rounds of live fire” after the driver of the U-Haul ignored “multiple verbal commands” to stop and then proceeded to back in toward the base’s entrance, according to the Coast Guard.

“When the vehicle’s actions posed a direct threat to the safety of Coast Guard and security personnel, law enforcement officers discharged several rounds of live fire,” the agency said in a statement.

PROTESTS ERUPT AS ICE AGENTS RAID NYC CHINATOWN STREET VENDORS ALLEGEDLY SELLING COUNTERFEIT GOODS

The Coast Guard confirmed no personnel were injured during the incident.

The U-Haul had been parked outside the base for the better part of the day, CBS reported. The driver then fled after the shooting, the outlet reported.

Photographs from the aftermath of the scene show officials inspecting the abandoned box truck.

Two men arrived at local hospitals for gunshot wounds after the shooting, both with injuries that were not life-threatening, according to the FBI San Francisco Field Office.

One of the injured men was identified as a subject of the investigation, FBI officials said. The subject was released from the hospital and is currently in custody.

The incident followed a protest outside the entrance on Thursday, during which demonstrators attempted to block U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents from entering the base, according to WABC-TV.

Dozens of California Highway Patrol officers wearing riot gear tried to disperse the crowd in order to allow civilian employees to leave. Two people were detained and taken away, the outlet reported.

President Donald Trump on Thursday announced that his planned “surge” of federal troops to San Francisco had been postponed after he spoke with friends of his in the area who said the city’s mayor, Daniel Lurie, was making progress in tackling crime. Trump said on Truth Social that he spoke to Lurie and agreed to call off the move for now.

The base was meant to have been a staging area for the troops, local reports said.

Coast Guard Island is a 67-acre human-made island formed in 1913 in the Oakland Estuary between Oakland and Alameda.

It is federally owned, does not allow visits from the public without an escort or specific government identification and has been home to the current base, Base Alameda, since 2012, according to a Coast Guard document from 2016 cited by The Associated Press.

At last weekend’s “No Kings” protest in Washington, D.C., inflatable chickens bobbed above a crowd that, according to demographic research, was made up mostly of educated White women in their 40s.

Psychotherapist Jonathan Alpert said the “No Kings” protests were a snapshot of an era when emotional catharsis and civic activism have begun to blur.

“What we’re seeing is a kind of group therapy playing out in the streets,” he told Fox News Digital.

‘NO KINGS’ ORGANIZER DISCOURAGES VIOLENCE FOLLOWING COAST-TO-COAST ARRESTS

The protest, which drew thousands to the nation’s capital and similar rallies across the country, was aimed at denouncing what participants described as President Donald Trump’s “kingship” and blatant authoritarianism.

According to researchers at American University who track protest movements, and whose findings were first reported by Axios, the typical D.C. attendee was an educated White woman in her 40s who learned about the demonstration through friends or social media.

“The ‘No Kings’ movement allows people to feel belonging and community,” Alpert said. “Sharing grievances with like-minded people feels good, but it doesn’t necessarily change anything.”

Alpert, the author of his forthcoming book “Therapy Nation,” said “therapy speak” is everywhere in our culture.

“Therapy speak is everywhere — in dating apps, on the news, even in political rallies,” he said. “People start labeling others as narcissists or traumatized when those aren’t clinical diagnoses.”

MAN WEARING INFLATABLE TRUMP COSTUME ALLEGEDLY ATTACKED ON CAMERA AT BLUE STATE ‘NO KINGS’ PROTEST: POLICE

Alpert sees that hunger for connection as central to the “No Kings” phenomenon.

“People are craving community, and this gives them a place to channel that. They’re surrounded by others who validate how they feel, and that validation can be addictive,” he said. “Some protesters are equating the ‘No Kings’ movement with the Civil Rights Movement. In their minds, there’s an equivalency, but there really isn’t. They want to be part of something historically meaningful, and that longing can distort perspective.”

That fleeting catharsis, Alpert added, can also mask something darker.

“A lot of times people are unhappy in their own lives,” he said. “They may have anxiety or anger, and they project that onto others. That’s partly what we’re seeing play out at these rallies.”

Why are people wearing inflatable costumes to protests?

During “No Kings” protests across the nation last Saturday, individuals sporting inflatable T. rex, elephants and other brightly colored costumes flooded the streets. Supporters say the inflatable costumes draw attention without violence. The tactic started in Portland, Oregon, during protests against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations.

“They want us to be violent,” protester Claudia Schultz, wearing an inflatable pig costume, told the Miami Herald. “You can’t get any less violent than this.”
